The Northwood Recreation Department will hold its annual Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, February 7 beginning at 8:00 a.m.  The event will take place Harvey Lake and refreshments will be served in NCC's Fellowship Hall.
As in past years, we will be serving coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, along with various baked goods. We are seeking volunteers to help serve drinks and/or contribute baked goods such as cookies, muffins, or other treats. If you are able to help, please contact Peggy Kofer at 603-608-8627.

Our Poetry Salon this month will take place on Sunday, February 1st, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at Ma’s Café and Tavern, located at 284 First New Hampshire Turnpike, Northwood, NH 03261.

Ma’s will need a headcount by Saturday evening, so please let Peggy Kofer know if you plan on attending. You can text Peggy at 603-608-8627.

 On Sunday, January 25th, we will welcome Rev. Holly Tomilson. Rev. Tomilson is our new Pastoral Care Pastor and will also be preaching on the 4th Sunday every month. All are welcome and we hope you will be able to attend!

 Please consider giving blood for our Second Annual Blood Drive in memory of our beloved Anna.  You can scan the bar code on the poster or call the Red Cross directly to schedule an appointment.  Thank you to all those who have already scheduled an appointment!  There are several open appointment times available! 
We are looking for volunteers to make cookies and treats for the blood drive.  Grab a poem, a song, or just your appetite and join us! Our Poetry Salon & Potluck Dinner happens Thursday, January 8th at 6:00 PM in Fellowship Hall. Come and go as you please, share a favorite poem, reading, song, or creative spark (or just enjoy listening!), and savor a delicious potluck meal. Good food, good words, and good company guaranteed—all are welcome! 📖🍲✨ 

 

Wednesday, December 24th, our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Holly Tomilson and guest pianist Laura Houle. All are invited to be a part of this beautiful service as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you will be able to attend.

This Sunday, December 14th, is the 3rd Sunday of Advent with the lighting the candle of joy. Services start at 9:30 in the Sanctuary with Rev. Holly Tomilson as our guest minister and the Lion sisters performing joyous Christmas music.  We hope to see you there!
