This Sunday, September 13th, we invite you to join us as we welcome back Rachel Burlock as our guest preacher.  

Rachel is a writer, musician, podcaster, mother, and pastor. Over the course of her career she has worked as a Radio Shack manager, youth pastor, burrito engineer, professional musician, equity analyst, and Portuguese interpreter. She majored in English and Portuguese in college, and received her Masters in Divinity from Boston University in 2011. She is currently in the ordination process in the United Church of Christ, and volunteers as a teacher and interpreter at a correctional facility. 

We hope you will be able to attend to hear Rachel and enjoy the fellowship.

This Sunday, September 6th, beginning at 9:30 a.m., we will be holding our Monthly Poetry Salon at Ma's Cafe, 284 First New Hampshire Turnpike, Northwood, NH. Please note that we will be meeting upstairs at Ma's for better acoustics. Whether you come to share your favorite poem, a poem you have written yourself, or to listen to others share, enjoy camaraderie and delicious food, all are welcome and we hope to see you there!

Please help the Northwood Emergency Food Pantry and End 68 Hours of Hunger (which services Northwood and surronding comunities) restock their shelves. We will be holding a food drive for these two organizations this Sunday, August 30, from 9 AM to 11 AM. Representatives for each program will be at the church to answer any questions you may have.

Holly Tomilson at Northwood Congregational Church.  Rev Holly's sermon this week is titled "A Sermon with No Name"  and the scripture readings are Ephesians 5:15-20 and Romans 12:1-8.  We hope to see you there!

 This Sunday, August 16th, we hold our Bible Exploration through Art and Discussion.  The two scriptures we will be focusing on are Genesis 45:1-15 Matthew 15: 10-28 from the New International Version and the Living Bible.  We hope you will be able to join us as we discover the Bible in a new and exciting way!
