This Sunday, October 12th, we will welcome Linnea Schroeder as our guest Worship Leader and Speaker.  Linnea will be offering communion to those who would like to receive it.  A brief bio for Linnea is given below:

Linnea earned her Master of Arts in Theology degree from Andover Newton Theological School in 1996. After more than twenty years in youth work and religious education in institutional church settings, she struck out in 2015 to create Night Kitchen, a weeknight salon for adults of the Seacoast area in search of “reasoned, compassionate and useful answers to the moral and spiritual dilemmas of our time.” She views her occasional pulpit appearances as opportunities for focused reflection on the span of her learnings in both kinds of settings, with the aim of widening safe spaces for change in the institutional church.

Gayle and her husband live in Concord where Gayle continue to bike ride, meddle in community activities, read, and do handwork - including a quilt inspired by Joann Bailey. The Congregational Church of North Barnstead is her home church, where she is called by them to serve those outside of the organized church.
