Stewardship Sunday - May 15, 2022

STEWARDSHIP

Stewardship Sunday, also known as Giving Sunday, will be on Sunday, May 15.
You should have received a letter from the stewardship team. It includes a form that you can complete and turn in on stewardship Sunday during our church service.
If you will not be there on that day, please mail it to the church or email or text your information to Mary Ann Wareing.
Please prayerfully consider your pledge for this year.

Thank You - The Stewardship Team
Michael Moore, Peggy Kofer, Shelly Perry, and Pastor Renee.

Galatians 6:2 says:  Carry each other’s burdens so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Crank Up The Heat Chili Cookoff - Saturday April 9

Crank Up the Heat Chili Cook Off

Saturday April 9 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

We will either serve a cup of chili or provide a taste of each chili donated by local restaurants participating in the contest.
This is a fundraiser to help the church pay for the added cost of heating the building this year and also for our mission fund to help those in need pay for their heating bills this year.

The following businesses have agreed to provide Chili for the Cook Off:
Wendy's of Epsom
Mr Sippy BBQ of Rochester
Northwood Diner
Cooper Hill Pizza
Blue Bowl of Deerfield
We will charge $10 for a sampler from the businesses that are part of the cook off if you would like to vote.
If you would like a whole bowl of chili provided by our members (not part of the cook off), it would also be $10. Both would include cornbread.
The Northwood Recreation quilts that are being raffled for a fundraiser will also be on display

February Mission

Greetings! The deep cold and snow of January has us at Northwood Congregational Church dreaming of spring, flowers and gardens! To celebrate the coming of spring, we will hold a Seed Exchange in the Fellowship Hall (lower level of the church) on Sunday, February 13th at 11 a.m.  Bring seeds to share, wear your face masks and for admission, bring an item that's in good condition to help keep the homeless warm. Hope to see you there!
