Announcements for our fourth week of July 2014
Gayle is on vacation.
Gayle is on vacation through July 28th. The phone is still being checked daily, so if you need anything, please leave a message and someone will get back to you soon. A special thank you to Tom Masison for leading worship last Sunday. This Sunday, the 27th, Margie Nickerson will be leading worship.

Sunday's worship is being led by Margie Nickerson. She and husband William have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Margie serves on our Mission Committee as well as working with the Lay Preachers. She also serves on the Boards of 2 missions who serve the poor in the Dominican Republic. Let's all encourage Margie as she leads worship on Sunday. :)

Announcements for our third week of July 2014

Just a reminder to all that Gayle is on vacation through July 28. This Sunday's worship will be led by Thomas Masison. Worship on the 27th will be led by Margie Nickerson.
The annual Blueberry Breakfast at the Bean Hole Bash will be held on Saturday, July 26. Volunteers are needed for picking blueberries, cooking and serving, and for baked goods. If you are able to help out, please add your name to the sign-up sheet, on the table outside Fellowship Hall.

Sunday’s worship is being led by 20-year-old Northwood resident Thomas Masison. Tom is a Biomedical Science major at UNH and also serves on the UNH Red Cross student organization. His hobbies include: playing the guitar, fish-keeping, and reading. Let’s all encourage Tom as he leads our worship Sunday. :)

99th Birthday Celebration
Marion Schroeder has moved to The Edgewood Center in Portsmouth, NH. Her 99th birthday is coming up on July 22nd. If you remember her, please feel free to send her a birthday card. It will help her feel connected to the people she has known.

Volunteer Opportunity in Madbury
The Madbury Union Church is planning for their 100th Anniversary dinner on August 9. They are in need of 6 volunteer servers, youth or adult, to work for a few hours that Saturday serving tables family style. This will suffice for school Community Service hours.

Announcements for our first week of July, 2014
Our summer mission will be about sharing your garden overflow. Consider sharing your bounty from First Fruits to the overabundance of your flower, fruit, and vegetable gardens. Through the summer please bring your garden’s bounty to church to share with others. We will have your donations on display during coffee time following the service for others to purchase. All monies will go to the local food pantry. Items that do not sell will be used for the Monday night free meals, and/or for the Thursday free Soup lunch.

Horton Center Experience Week ~ July 27 - August 2
Journey to the mountains for a day, a few days, or the whole week in late July. It’s a perfect mini-vacation to attend by yourself or with the entire family. The Horton Center experience week will give you a taste of camp, yet will differ from the usual programming. You will have the choice of what programming you want to join in on! You can help plan and lead worship services, go rock climbing with friends, play kickball as a family, do trail work on our Chapel Rock Trail, hike, bike or another adventure, and come back to a bed and homemade meal. The opportunities are vast as is the mountain view. Prices are: $60 per person, per night, or $275 for the entire week. Meals and programming are included. Register online at: www.hortoncenter.org.

Bring your animals in to receive a blessing. We have found that most animals do well in worship, but if you are concerned your animal will not do well, bring a picture for blessing. It is a wonderful celebration of all of God’s creatures.
